SVIS Key Modules

SVIS manages the full end-to-end inspection operation starting from managing the inspection appointments’ booking, managing inspection lanes, monitoring inspection stages, generating test results and certificates, and performing retesting, if needed.

Partners Information Management

The Partners Information Management module acts as an organizational structure that defines and builds the overall structure of the vehicle testing process. Staff Information Management

The Staff Information Management module describes the process of recording the staff general details and contact information in the system, and setting up the working hours, schedules and shift information.

Inspection Configuration

The Inspection Configuration module allows for defining the inspection data including inspection parameters, services, test groups and inspection fees along with the regulatory information such as policies, standards and regulations.

Vehicle Inspection

The Vehicle Inspection module determines the vehicle’s roadworthiness. The inspection process involves an end-to-end processing of a vehicle as follows:

  • Vehicle’s arrival at the testing center’s check-in booth.
  • Selecting the required inspection service and preparing the vehicle profile using the registration authorities' databases.
  • Assigning the vehicle to the most suitable inspection lane & printing the customer token.
  • Performing various automated and visual tests required for the vehicle category
  • Issuing the inspection certificate for the customer and collecting inspection fees.

Appointments Management

The Appointment Management module manages the vehicle inspection booking process. It allows the responsible authority to manage the appointments’ eligibility rules and time slots duration. It also includes a web-service interface for customers, which can be integrated with the responsible authority portal/mobile app, to offer higher accessibility to appointment booking facilities on remote channels.

Communication Management

The Communication Management module manages the communication process with all system users for either a specific system event or an Ad-Hoc notification/circular sent to specific groups of users or to users with certain roles in the system. Communication takes place through email, SMS, or on-screen/manual message.

Users and Access Management

The Users and Access Management module enables the process of authenticating and identifying users and their privileges. This increases the system security and organizes the users’ roles and responsibilities.

Governance and Compliance

The Governance and Compliance module allows auditors to perform the audit Inspection process including the scheduled, unscheduled, and mystery shopping inspection. The module also allows auditors to set up the required data for the audit process such as but not limited to: configuring the Inspection Elements, Non-Compliance Scoring, Audit Shift Timings, Audit Schedule Planning, Auditor Working Days and Leaves.

Committee Meetings Management

The Committee Meetings Management module manages meetings held by the transport regulating authority committee to investigate customers’ complaints and requests related to their vehicles. In addition to handling customers’ cases, decisions made by the committee are communicated to both the customer and designated Vehicle Testing Center (VTC) inspector to take the necessary actions.
